   I have a 3 yr old kid that is going to be in preschool this Fall. Does anybody could share their kids' preschool experiences at Bloom Preschool West Seattle ? I visited the school open house and surprised by the teacher and student ratio in the class and would like to hear from the parents. Thanks a lot in advance !

   We visited for a day this past summer, for a trial. When we picked our son up, the teachers seemed more into their own children, and not so much into how the day went with ours. I would recommend. a child becomes preschool! Call and set up an appointment! Check them all out, and remember preschools do not have to go through the same rules for licensing as childcare centers do. So do your homework. Just because you meet a "teacher" does not mean that they have the training or the background, to even be called a teacher. When you go to a preschool, you meet the owner or head teacher. As it turns out they may not always be there, and someone else spends that time with your child. So do your homework, and ask questions. We had a very bad experience at Cometa.    My kid atended Bloom during the first year it was open, and we had a good experience. The teachers were neat and organized, and responsive to my kid's needs and psycho-social growth. It was a fine year.
   .
   We did not re-enroll for the second year because we wanted a longer school day pre-kindergarden, and a place that would allow more outdoor time. We switched to an in-home school that ran a three-day, four-hour program with a nice balance of outdoor play and learning readiness.

   @Pattilea, sorry to hear your bad experience with Cometa. I am going to check A child becomes preschool. Thanks for your advice too !
