Pad See Eew so good I'd eat it every day forever and be happy.

Tom Yum Koong is also very good. And they deliver.

The crack chicken & pad kee mao from Buddha Ruksa are incredible. As are their forest (non coconut based) & masaman curries. Admittedly, pretty much anything at Buddha Ruksa is delicious :)

I am not sure they are the best and they are not exactly local, but the best lunch time Thai food anywhere is Mae Phim. Every dish is $6. Darn good and cheap

Buddha Ruska is the best in West Seattle IMO, by far.
Just don't give your baby an empty beer bottle when you're there! ;)

Head to white center and follow your nose for cheap authentic Thai and Vietnamese food.
i love Pho 88
hubby prefers pho 99
both are excellent and both serve more than Pho.
but you shouldn't miss the sandwiches next door to Full Tilt or at the bakery a street to the east :)
or the cambodian place a couple of streets east :)Posted 1 year ago # -
You eat it everyday you going get gout.

Tom Yum Koong is a thai dish as well as the name of restaurants in Boston. Could that be why there is no web site for the local place to be found?

Their "sister restaurant," Tangerine, has a site with pretty much the same menu, which is nice to be able to refer to. http://www.tangerinethaicuisine.com/

I like them both, but end up at Tom yum Koong much more often--much less guilt for me than BR's 'crack' chicken, which is really good. My only complaint is that they sometimes go a little heavy on the fish sauce.

Crab wontons at Tom Yum Koong.
Larb salad at The Thai Than. Most authentic Larb I've had since visiting Laos.

All the Thai food I've tried is great in WS, but you can't officially claim to be a West Seattlite until you have had Buddha Ruksa ;-) Highly recommended!!
