Youth Tutoring ProgramParticipantMeet your neighbors, and deepen your connection to your community –
Volunteer for the Youth Tutoring Program!
“What I like most about YTP is interacting with my neighbors! If it weren’t for the program, I wouldn’t know these kids or parents.”—YTP Volunteer
The Youth Tutoring Program, a part of Catholic Community Services, serves students in grades 1st -12th, who live in Seattle Housing Authority’s High Point community. Children and youth come in to the Center for tutoring twice a week, and build up a relationship with their tutors.
Volunteers support students in building math and reading skills, homework, and enrichment activities. Our program matches volunteers one-on-one with students to tutor and inspire them to succeed both academically and personally. If you have a passion about education and want to engage with your community, come tutor with us! Our after school program begins September 15th, 2014.
