BACON deliveries TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!

The bacon is scheduled to arrive late this afternoon. So I'll be doing bacon deliveries tonight, Monday, December 8. The times and locations are as follows:

5:45-6:15pm: ADMIRAL: Far north end of the Metropolitan Market parking lot.

6:30-7:00pm: MORGAN: Far south end of the Thriftway parking lot.

7:10-7:30pm: JUNCTION: Key Bank parking lot, site of Sunday Farmer's Market

It will obviously be dark by the time these deliveries happen, but I'll do all I can to stand out. I may just have to make up a pig sign and hold it on a stake. I'll be driving a 2008 VW Eos. Here is a daytime photo of the bacon mobile you will be looking for:

My mobile number is: 646.283.2982. Please be a bit patient if the times are not exact. I can't say that I've had to coordinate bacon distribution before so I'm at the mercy of unforeseen circumstances.

The bacon is $10 per pound. Cash and exact change is appreciated. Checks made out to "Christopher Boffoli" will be fine.

I'll try to get to Admiral - I've got a meeting at my house at 7, so I can't get away to the others (which would be closer to me). If I can't make Admiral, I'll be in touch with you.

Christopher...I will do my best to be at Met Mkt...I'll be in between clients, so pretty sure I can be there, cash in hand :). Thank you ever so much for putting this together...and thanks to the wonderful people who made this bacon especially for us. We owe them a debt of bacon gratitude :)

Thanks Christopher!! Not sure which one I'll be at, but I'll get my bacon somewhere.

And if anyone totally flakes on you, I'll buy some of the leftover bacon! I always hate fronting for stuff and then having people flake out...

OK. Deliveries have wrapped for the night. I'm back inside trying to warm myself up after shivering for a couple of hours in random parking lots.

Thanks to all those who were right on the ball with picking up their bacon.

Remaining deliveries are:

beaconhill, carrieann, charlabob, davebrewer, fulltilt, katie guenther, hopey, ranette iding, jackie, janS, jaydee, jem, jen, jkboison, max, morganlf, meg, rockergirl, seachuck, tammiws, danielle venhuizen, kristie wehe and wendy.

I'm happy to do repeat visits tomorrow night to the same locations, on the same schedule. I might be able to do a lunchtime schedule tomorrow too if people are interested. I'd like to divest myself of this bacon ASAP so please let me know what works best for the remaining folks.

Sorry, I didn't see this until just now. I can do any of those same pickups tomorrow, but you could also decide to end your night at Full Tilt for more deliveries... I'd be happy to meet you there around 8pm, and I'm sure FullTilt would be there as well. :)

Sorry, didn't see this till after delivery time. We can pick up tomorrow at the same time/place. One of us will be around and can pick up any time.

I'm sure Full Tilt is great but I've got my hands full with the current delivery locations and won't have time to add a White Center stop.

Bacon deliveries will be repeated tomorrow, Tuesday 12/9, at the same locations and times as tonight.

Just saw this post, and am glad I didn't miss out on the bacon! Will definitely be @ one of the locations tomorrow night. (Most likely the Met Market stop, depending on how quickly I can get out of the U. District in the late afternoon.) Thank you, Christopher!

And I have to say that everyone picking up bacon was absolutely delightful. I wonder if everyone is so nice because they are West Seattle Blog readers or if it is because they are bacon lovers. Maybe a bit of both?
