   Hi

   Can someone help? I am still navigationally challenged (smile)I want to take 99/Aurora south back into West Seattle and by pass the bridge tonight, but I'm not sure how to do it. Do I just keep going south on 99 past the ramp for the bridge? Then where do I get off 99. I think I go through White Center?

   If you continue on 99 south you can continue over the 1st ave bridge and take the West Marginal Way exit which will put you going north. Follow West Marginal until you're under the WS Freeway(bridge) go past the Chelan Cafe and it will bring you to Harbor Ave where you take a right and follow it around the beach to your house. No need to go thru White Center.

   Or turn left from West Marginal onto Highland Park Way...but it depends on where in West Seattle you're going.

   Or - take the second exit after crossing the 1st Ave South bridge, keep right and go up Olson Place SW which will turn into Roxbury Street and take you through White Center and beyond to 35th.

   Can't you just take the low bridge cut off to avoid the high one to get back onto W.Seattle or does it have issues at night also?

   Wren:

   Munchkin22's directions are the best for getting home to the Alki area. You do need to know about West Marginal (on the west margin of the Duwamish) and the 5-way intersection at Chelan Cafe (going north on West Marginal, stay in the Right hand lane--don't try the left hand lane or you will be confused).    Hi all. Munchkin, JayDee - is that you John?
   you guys (and ladies) are the best!

   I wound up not going tonight, but it looks like those directions will me find the supply place.

   I think it is that area off the ramp that is under the bridge near Chelan Cafe that confuses me where to turn. I made a left turn last time, but it didn't feel safe.
