JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – ARTSWEST PLAYHOUSE & GALLERY
Title: Marketing Associate
Status: Part-Time (20 hours/week), with potential for increase
Job Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating all aspects of marketing, media relations, advertising, website updates, and production of printed materials, including brochures, newsletters and advertisements, in connection with ArtsWest productions. Works closely with Managing Director, Artistic Director and Marketing Committee to meet marketing goals/objectives throughout the year.
Publications/Writing: Manage the writing, production and distribution of marketing collaterals, i.e., direct mail, website, posters, annual brochure, production programs, ads, etc.
Public Relations: Maintain ongoing press/media relations including press releases and press kits. Pitch press angles, feature stories, and schedule interviews. Work with the Development Associate to assure recognition of donors and sponsors. Assure uniform and consistent branding of ArtsWest across all marketing pieces.
Advertising: Maintain print, radio and multi-media advertising schedule, creating and coordinating ad production to meet deadlines.
•3 years marketing/public relations experience. Non-profit theater experience preferred.
•Excellent communication skills
•Experience with Word Press, Constant Contact, social media
•Experience working with graphic designers
ArtsWest Playhouse and Gallery is looking for somewhat of a guerilla with the right skill set, relevant marketing experience, and a desire to increase their commitment over time, as budgets allow. The ideal candidate is passionate about the arts, and sees their marketing skills as the best way to serve our mission.
