   Looks like some of us in our knitting group are going (long story). I would love to chat with anybody who has been! We are planning on October. Argentina and Brazil trip info. welcome, too. :)

   I was just in Montevideo in January (as well as Chile and Argentina). Beautiful places. I have friends in Montevideo in the British ex-pat community there and winery friends too. Send me a PM and I'll send you my contact info for a chat.

   Ellenater, I spent almost a month in Brazil. A little over a week we spent on a small eco trip through the Amazon. We visited places rarely traveled to areas. Absolutely AMAZING! After that we headed to Rio for almost a week, then up to Salvador. I'd be happy to share my experience, etc... where exactly are you going in Brazil? The friend I traveled with has been to Uruguay and Argentina, so I could hook you up with her if need be as well. I have tons of pics online I took of Brasil if you are interested. :)

   YAY! I will PM both of you! Thanks.

   So far there are two others going and more possible. We don't have our itinerary at all planned with the exception of visiting the Malabrigo yarn co-op in Montevideo. We are fiends for this particular yarn and we get to dye and name our own colorways. So we are beyond excited! I know we are interested in partaking in some dancing and one of us sings opera. I hear the meat dishes are great and I also love Mate'. Will definitely try the chivito! I guess they have anteaters in Uruguay!
