Any leftover laminate wood (pergo type) flooring?

    Hi everyone,

Has anyone just done a flooring job with laminate wood flooring (pergo type) that they have extra of and would like to get rid of? I have a hideously PAINTED floor in our mud room which is quite small that I'd like to replace, but would rather "reuse" some wood if possible. It's about 30sqft if that helps.

Thanks everyone...hoping someone has some lying around that they are wishing someone could use!

You might try Second Use in South Park. I've often seen flooring there.

  3. Wish I had found you sooner, I had about that much that I finally just threw out. I agree...try one of the local stores around for leftovers

Wow, that would be great! Very adamant about using up supplies before buying anything new. Let me know approx. how many sq. feet your box covers if you do end up finding it. Thanks again!!!

  6. @susieq Second Use and Earthwise (which is down on 4th Ave S) only sell used materials. They work strictly in salvage. That is why it was recommended here.

I have a unopened box of the DB101 harvest color bamboo. It's a solid tongue and groove, glue down or nail down style. Aprox. 5/8" of an inch thick. It says it should cover 23.4 sq ft. plus Home Depot has all the matching molding, risers and trim. I paid aprox $50 a box for it, so make me an offer I guess. beers? Record lps?

    Hi Todd,

Thanks so much for looking into this. Unfortunately, because it's not 30sq feet or more, we'd be forced to buy another full box to finish the project and have to try and match yours up with one out there. We appreciate you looking but this doesn't look like it's going to work out. Rats, and I wanted to try some new bars as payment!

I do have half of another box, but I am saving it in case I have to replace anything in the house.

Go to Second Use in South Park. Builders take their extras there. they sell cheap. Also Habitat For Humanity has a store on Marginal Way that people donate extra building material to, all procedes go to H.F.H. http://www.seattlehabitatoutlet.org/
