Alki police response Sat 5/16 5:45 pm

    Noticed several SPD patrol cars zipping toward Alki Beach. Any news?

    I live in a building adjacent to where the three cop cars stopped. The dead end of Bonair pl. They got out on foot and chased 2 or 3 males around my building (i didn't see them) and caught one. I don't know if they caught the other two. I also have no idea what for.

    We got two notes about the Bonair sighting. Nothing obvious on the scanner. No 911 calls suggesting anything involving injury around that time. And we were in the Alki area shortly afterward with no hint of mayhem, so until I see an actual report, there at least is no indication it was anything major.
