    From the announcement of the Alki Community Council meeting this week:

    The Board has authorized the President to hire a very part-time Administrative Assistant @ $12.00 per hour to assist with publication of the Beacon and the many activities which Cami MacNamara and Larry Carpenter have so graciously performed for
    many years. If you know of individuals who might be interested please have them contact jule@comcast.net.
