Advice please: childcare needed

    My parents have been watching my son one day a week but need to stop in April so we have begun the childcare search. It's daunting! We are looking for a place that can watch him 1 day/week at 17 months old and 2 days a week sometime down the road. I've called a lot of places and many are either full, have full-time only schedules or cost more than I make. Any suggestions for quality childcare centers or in-home daycares?

    I'm looking too, newmom! I feel your pain. We have a baby due in April, and will need care starting in August. It's made slightly more complicated by the fact that we are house hunting & not sure where in West Seattle we'll be living, and that my husband's schedule changes every three months. I'm lucky if I can even get providers to return my calls/emails.

    Any recommendations, forum friends?

I started my business to help out parents just like you. People who need part time childcare for work, errands, dr appts or just time for themselves!
