Does anyone else think the sound there is poor? I know it's a discounted theater and I like to support independent local businesses but I've seen several movies there over the past 8 years or so and the sound is so jittery, for lack of a better description. I don't think I would sit through a flick again for free or if they paid me the cost of admission.

  2. You know, I have observed a weird visual thing at the Admiral. During the movie, look at the upper right corner of the screen, especially during a bright scene. There's this weird "boiling" motion up there, as if the movie were being projected through a clear pot of boiling water--but just in that one spot. It's hard to describe, but I've noticed it during everything I've ever seen there. What is it?

Luckie, I've only been to a few movies there, but have noticed that, too. Not exactly sure what causes it (if it has something to do with the film, or damage to the screen itself...)

They have truly horrible sound in the theater, its the main reason I keep from going back. Its sad because I love the building, but can't handle the bad sound
