   The sales have started, the shelves are emptying, and I saw someone loading their bicycle with groceries in the store. Some of the items aren't on sale, wonder if they will haul the leftovers in the store to Jefferson Squre or to Roxbury?

   Glad you posted as I forgot to go earlier today. Just walked over and really didn't see any noteable or blowout deals either. The beer aisle was empty aside from a bottle or six pack or two. Wine aisle 1/3or less remains. Magazine's empty. Greet cards not discounted. Everything else seemingly as normal tonite - (edit) a stocking crew was even in replenishing Produce dept, as well as other aisles. I know it's over, I just can't let them go.
   It'll be a tough year without them! I just realized I won't be able to go there at Midnite, on foot, to get a Rug Doctor. :(

   Adm935...I live across the street from Safeway (to the east). I call it my second refrigerator...lol. Guess I'll just have to keep a stiff upper lip, and wait a year..sigh.Amazon Fresh, here I come :)

   I've been calculating what items I only buy at Safeway, and how many boxes a year's supply would be. If it isn't on sale I figure I can buy them at the other Safeways. If they are, score!

   Another ponder for me is the Starlight Foundation of White Center toy barrel by the west entry. Barrel has been there since before Christmas, and the same stuffed animal on top getting covered with dust.

   Summer things are marked down 50% - if any left this am, would be nice to get a few things to tuck away for next year. (beach shovels/rakes, balls....)

   Safeway delivers too! I haven;t tried that but did try Spud with a Groupon coupon. Eh, grocery shopping through the internet - what will they think of next. The next biggest Safeway is on Roxbury, pretty big store there.

   I just heard one of the checkers say that tomorrow probably most of the perishable products will be 50% off. Might want to check that out. Want wine? go somewhere else - lol...shelf is empty :)

   Frozen pizza was cleared out, so was Kleenex. Some brands of candy bars are being sold buy 2, get 2 free. Looked like the beer aisle was cleared out. Sodas are sparse. There are some good deals in canned goods. It looked like some suppliers were clearing their shelves and taking products away in some areas.

   Lots and lots of eggs.
