   Sadly today we had to put our beloved 12 year old Pug "Ricky" to sleep. Thanks to the staff at Avalon...your compassion, patience, and kind understanding was very much appreciated in coming to the decision to let him go.

   Good bye little buddy...you will be missed :(

   I'm so very sorry. :-( Do you have a favorite Ricky story you can share (if you'd like)? I know after losing my dog it has been helpful to remember those very happy times.

   the unconditional love of dogs is hard to beat; sorry to hear that it was time for Ricky to move on. No doubt your memories of having him as part of your family will keep him in your heart.

    I'm so sorry. We lost our dearly-loved kitty Calvin this week too. (the one in the userpic.) He was MUCH too young and had sudden liver failure. It's heartbreaking to lose a furry family member.
