I very recently adopted a Cairn Terrier, 12+years and blind, with a slight loss of smell and little directional hearing. She used to have a dog companion. One thing that makes her really happy is the scent of other dogs. I think she needs a play group for dogs who are about her size and speed. She doesn't really walk, she wanders.

I have a 12 year old (and a 5 year old) Jack Russell Terrier. My 12 year old still can play kind of wildly, but doesn't last long at all and then likes to slow down and just wander/hang out. He might enjoy "playing" with your cairn terrier. He definitely prefers other terriers.

Thank you for replying. I would love to find out if they can be friends. Are you near a park?

How about we set something up at the small dog area at West Crest? I rarely see anyone in it. I will send you an email as well.
