   Anyone else out there excited for the new season to start tonight?!?! We only have a few minutes!

   Yes I know it will probably be awful ... but its got be better than the political threads! :)

   Nope! I am partial to the original as it was sooo sooo 90s. I love that 90210. I can't grasp onto the 2.0 version. Although Im sure it will be more exciting than the RNC ;-)

   I'll give it a few minutes (time for some escape) but I'm afraid it just won't live up to the original hot mess! Now, at 10:00, you can watch the current 90210 drama/scripted reality - Million Dollar Listings :)

   I don't know I heard that Tori Spelling is voting McCain and we all know how those republicans are. JUST KIDDING! :) Ahhh a little political thread hangover humor.

   What is 90210 going to be like without all that 90's acid wash ghetto-fabulosity? I just want to know what they're going to do with all the return cast members! They managed to wrangle quite a few of them so that should be fun!

   Jennie Garth is a great person. That's funny, I was just watching reruns of it today. And it was one I had not seen (when Dylan and Brenda were still dating and Dylan had not yet fallen out of favor with the 'rents). Personally, I think Dylan and Brenda belong together.

   MissK I am with you...

   Huge 90210 of the 90's fan and expected to turn it off after ten minutes...

   but now they have me roped in for next week! And yes far more exciting than the RNC! Just flipped to the for five minutes...wow, that is all i can say.

    Changingtimes.....that trashy show GG has roped me in too. I guess it's my midlife crisis outlet.

    Someone has downloaded all the episodes (the original 90210) on YouTube. I watch them from time to time. I love that they made Kelly's little sister a main character. I don't care for the curly haired stuck up girl.

    I watched about 10 minutes out of sheer teenage nostalgia - wow that was bad. Rude, crude, vulgar - and no charm from any of the actors. Oh well, they tried.

    If you want some intelligent teen drama go rent the 3 seasons of Veronica Mars. I miss that show so much!

    I love the punch part of the original theme song. Da Na Na Na Da Na Na Na Chkk Chkk. Oh where is my baby doll top and biker shorts. LOL

    I heard that the son Kelly has in the show is Dylan's?

    As far as the show being a little over the top, we have to remember that that's what HS is like nowadays. Gone are the innocent days of the occasional kegger party. Now they are waaaay too grown up.

    Rats, I missed it! Love the original (own the first 3 seasons on DVD.) Just finished Tori's book. Also liked her show on Oxygen. I know, I need to get a life. It's my guilty pleasure.

    LOL. My husband (and most of my friends) think I have a screw loose. What do they know????? Off topic, I have another new favorite show -- Mad Men on AMC. Not even remotely related or similar to 90210, but I highly recommend it. old episodes are avail on demand. Yahoo the kids are back in school and I can catch up on my trashy TV.
