   ...so get yourself down to Kitty Harbor! There are some wonderful adults and teenagers looking to provide you with a lifetime of Happiness.

   Here are a few of the 'special cats''

   1.An adult pair whose people divorced and neither person would take them. They are a beautiful, loving set of cats that are now without a permanant lap to warm.

   2. Jared, a 2-4 year old snuggle bug who survived a recent housefire (see WSB coverage of Jared and the fire)

   3. Rusty, an eight year old red tabby who is a sweet, sweet boy that likes other cats and gets along with dogs. He has early stage kidney issues, so is on a special diet for the rest of his life. This wonderful boy would like to shower you with love.

   4. An adult pair whose human died of cancer. They are sad and need someone to hug 'em, tell 'em it will be alright', and love 'em forever.

   The event starts @ 12 noon and goes until 6pm. Hope to see you there!

   Hi elikapeka,

   Thank you for asking! Sixty-nine cats and kittens found homes yesterday. There were a lot of smiling faces and purrs going on. The five cats that didn't find their purrfect home this weekend are all in foster care until Kitty Harbor reopens in June.

   Jared...adopted two purrfect men. He totally took to them and now has a furry brother named Sylvester who he is getting to know. It was quite amusing to see big, buffed Jared loaded into a pink cat carrier! Priceless!

   Did you happen to adopt anyone yesterday? If so, who and how is it going?

   Oh, I'm so glad Jared got a home! No, I didn't adopt yesterday, as I have my quota at home, but one of my kitties was a rescue from a fire, so Jared caught my attention and I was hoping he would get a great new home. Thanks for the update!
