   Does this require an extended lease to get the 1/2 off December rent? If so I believe this violates the forum rules of advertising. The rules state that you need to be offering a significant discount, if you are offering 1/2 the first months rent of a 1 year lease that is hardly a significant discount, probably not even 10% off. For full disclosure I tried to post something for my small business a few months ago for 25% off and it got pulled. Maybe I just need to be more creative with my wording.

   yes, TR could you please clarify; I'm confused; thought rental ads were not allowed; but forgot about the discount thing; what qualifies as a discount so that someone can post ads on forum like this?

   Just to clarify: we are not asking for a 12 month lease, just a 6 month lease. We have already reduced the rent and cut the required security deposit in half. So combined with the 1/2 off offer for December, it really is a good deal.

   All that said, I didn't intend to cause a problem. If the post is illegal, I apologize.

   Well I'm assuming your rent is at least $1000 so that is $500 off $6000 or about an 8% decrease in price. I offered a 25% off my already rock bottom prices and my post was pulled. Not to single you out specifically, I'm sympathetic for any small business struggling in this economy. I just wish the moderators of this site treated us all the same.

   Half off a month's rent is a discount.

    Did you read that you need to sign a 6 month lease to get that 1/2 off? Next time I post I'll just offer 1/2 off the first 10 minutes of my hour long service.
