cougfanParticipantNew to the area (North Admiral). We have 2 YO Bull Mastiff and are looking for a recommendation for a good Vet.
thanks

westcoastdebParticipantLein gets almost universal support.
I use west Seattle animal hospital because they have more hours when I am likely to not be working.

kayoParticipantWe love West Seattle Animal Hospital. Lein is great, too, but we switched because WS had more weekend and late office hours. The vets are all good at WS, but we are particular fans of Dr. Gomez and Dr. Meredith.

furryfacesParticipantLien Animal Clinic, Greentree Animal Hospital or the two aforementioned doctors at WS Animal clinic.

KimberleyParticipantWe love Dr. Shaffer at Admiral Veterinary Hospital (on California across from the old Blockbuster). He came highly recommended to us by an Australian friend and we’ve been taking our cats/dog to him for years.

tom kelleyParticipantWe’ve been taking our dogs to Lien for over a decade and can’t recommend them highly enough.

anonymeParticipantI like both Dr. Meredith and Dr. Johnson at West Seattle Animal Hospital very much, although I’ve had a few customer service issues with the office itself. Based on some recent experiences I’d probably switch to Lien if it weren’t for the vets I just mentioned. I think they’ve got a better feeling for the needs of animals and their companion humans.

anotherwsmomParticipantI am a fan of Dr. Johnson at WS Animal.

datamuseParticipantAnother recommendation for WS Animal Hospital. They’ve saved my 18-year-old cat’s life twice, and were very helpful and kind when he had a panic attack during a routine exam (nothing they did; he’s just old and easily stressed). They’re good folks.
I’ve also heard really good things about Lien, but cannot speak from experience there.

DianaParticipantDr. Johnson, West Seattle Animal Hospital. Very savvy and practical and particularly good with canine patients who might be anxious visiting a vet.

LisaParticipanti have to chime in for WS Animal Hospital! We’ve been taking our two cats, both adopted from Kitty Harbor <3 for 5 years! Great Vets, staff!

mtnfreakParticipantWe’ve taken all four of our dogs (over the past 16 years) to Lien Animal Clinic. We know that several Federal agencies with working dogs go there too (which actually makes me think more highly of law enforcement administration, since they didn’t go to the cheapest vet in town instead).
I recommend them without hesitation.

MeeganMemberWe take our 2 dogs to Dr. McKim at Greentree Animal Hospital on the north side of the Alaska Junction. Its a small, very personal feeling practice. He’s been practicing for a while and seems to really know animals. When we were out of town and our dogs were attacked by an offleash dog while on a walk, they were very understanding about our friend just dropping the dogs off in the morning so they could get treated and keeping them for us till we could get home the next day.

amaliaParticipantLein seems to have extended their hours (and they have a new vet on hand).
