<description><p>The sound woke me up, too. Gunshots were my first thought but the pops sounded too random so I chalked it up to fireworks. Probably another wedding or birthday party.

Not smart, considering how dry the tall trees in this neighborhood are after this dry summer--embers coming to rest in a dry bunch of needles high in a tree, and burning unnoticed for a while--worrisome! If you know the people who were setting them off, please tell them not to endanger their neighbors any more.

<description><p>Was anyone else woken up around 12:32am with shots fired around 100th and 40th? I heard about 8 shots, the last 3 in rapid succession. They didnt sound close to our intersection, but loud enough to wake me up in a frenzy.
