OK, so I had this great idea that I would get a flat screen TV and use an easel to hold it. Got the idea from Restoration Hardware but I didn’t want to pay their inflated price and wasn’t too keen on their design. So I found a really nice, heavy duty easel at Dick Blick’s on-line (the store on Capital Hill had no stock). I had to pay quite a bit to get it shipped as it is awkward. But it arrived and I assembled it only to find that it really is too big for my little crackerbox house. So I will be selling it. I thought I would post here before putting it on Craigslist. I believe if you ordered it now, with shipping, it would cost over $450 and you would have to assemble it. I will sell mine, fully assembled for $420. It is a nice looking easel, made from ash with a cherry finish so it has an oak look to it. It is on castors so can be scooted around easily. Even has a winch to move the artwork up and down. I never actually mounted a TV to it (don’t have one) but I looked at enough easels to believe that this would model would work for that purpose.
