Tune into “Last Night at the City Dump” Wednesday Dec. 14th from 7 to 9pm on KCTS, Channel 9.
This could very well be “JP”‘s last TV appearance since he officially retired this past Summer.
Here’s the announcement from Pat Cashman’s Facebook page:
I’m the lucky person who gets to host “Last Night at the City Dump” tomorrow (Dec. 14th) from 7 to 9pm on KCTS, Channel 9. It’s what may well be the final appearance ever for J.P. Patches. He’s decided to retire, making his last public appearance at the Fisherman’s Festival at summer’s end. But he had long ago promised KCTS that he’d honor his commitment to come on their air in December—and tomorrow night’s it.
Call in with your well wishes, messages and memories for the all-time Seattle icon: Julius Pierpont Patches. Or, Chris Wedes, as his wife Joannie calls him.
