About the Seattle Seafair Commodores –
For over 60 years, the Seafair Commodores have been serving the Seattle community as the Seafair Festival’s official Goodwill Ambassadors. We are active year round representing Seattle and Seafair at festivals throughout the Northwest and British Columbia, as well as many community service projects. We are proud to be one of the five Seafair volunteer “families” – distinct volunteer groups that were part of the original founding of the Seafair Festival in the 1940s. The Commodores started as a group of Seattle business leaders who came together to raise money for the festival. We continue to honor our original mission by raising money for the Seafair Foundation and Scholarship Program for Women.
Seattle Integrated Martial Arts will be conducting a community-based Self-Defense Workshop on Saturday, March 25th, 12:30 – 2:00.
We will be raising money for a local organization, OneAmerica, that helps immigrant communities and fights for human rights.
The workshop is “free” but we are asking a suggested donation of $30 or whatever people can contribute.
Space is also limited. Call 206-935-4531 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.

The Duwamish Rowing Club is a community-driven, non-profit program, established in 2011, dedicated to bringing the sport of rowing to the residents of South Park, Georgetown, White Center, and surrounding neighborhoods. We offer affordable recreational access to the Duwamish River through low-cost adult and youth memberships. In the past 6 years our team has raced in 8 local regattas, had more than 20 youth participate in our program, and have built a volunteer-supported program operating out of a small boathouse on the banks of the Duwamish River.
