She is also the creator of the acclaimed Seattle Poetic Grid, which traces the city in the voices of its citizens. Claudia Castro Luna is passionate about the value of community building through the power of language, and her poems look at our personal ties, our relationships to the natural world and the consequences of injustice, wherever it is found.
