West Seattle See Dogs (which trains future guide dogs – see WSB coverage here) holds their regular training meeting schedule every 2nd and 4th Tuesday (except holidays) at 6:30 pm at The Kenney, 7125 Fauntleroy Way SW. From Ruth Oldham of WSSD:

“They Call It Puppy Love, and you’ll fall in love when you sign up to be a puppy raiser with Guide Dogs For The Blind. Adult and youth puppy raisers are needed who are willing to teach obedience and social skills. Training and support provided. Come join us so too can be part of this experience. Our volunteers are all working toward improving the quality of life for people who are blind. Come to our meetings at The Kenney and learn what’s involved…we need you!”

Call Ruth Oldham at 206-953-0268 for additional information.

Thanks to everyone who visited our Harvest Festival Booth and signed up for more information!
Join us Tuesday, November 11th, at 6:30 pm at The Kenney to learn how you too can be part of this amazing organization. We’ll provide a community of support to allow you to give back while being paid in unconditional love. It is a job that is both warm and fuzzy!
