The Opiate Epidemic in our Community: What Families Need to Know

National advocate and speaker Melissa Weiksnar will discuss her personal experience of losing her 20-year-old daughter Amy to drug overdose. Amy was a nursing student at Boston College. Melissa weaves the spirituality of the Stations of the Cross in this special presentation on current trends, facts about addiction and treatment, and the reality of recovery. Join us at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tuesday, February 27th from 6:30-8 pm in the Walmesley Center (3410 SW Myrtle) for this important presentation. Ms. Weiksnar will also be speaking at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Seattle on Sunday, 2/25 at 1:30 pm and at St. James Cathedral on Monday, 2/26 at 6:30 pm.
