Join the Southwest Seattle Historical Society for a monthly series at the West Seattle Library that features presentations on the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula, and the birthplace of Seattle.

lease join us for a new monthly speaker series that is co-sponsored by the Seattle Public Library. We call the series “SouthWest Stories.”

It features unique presentations by notable speakers on topics relating to the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula and the Birthplace of Seattle.

FREE to the public, each presentation takes place on the third Sunday afternoon of the month. The venue rotates among the five Seattle Public Library branches on our peninsula.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.

This series is co-sponsored by The Seattle Public Library and the Southwest Seattle Historical society.

Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
