Planet Earth Rocks! Thursday, August 03, 2017. 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm @ Southwest Branch Library.For ages 7 and up.

Become a geologist and learn how rocks can tell us stories about everything from the formation of the planet, to fossils or asteroids and meteors from space with staff and exhibits from the Burke Museum!
How old is the Earth? What clues can we look for to understand what Earth was like millions of years ago?

This program is part of the Library’s 2017 Summer of Learning program, Blast Off to Space! The Library is offering hundreds of free programs and activities for children and teens to keep youth engaged in reading and learning all summer long. The 2017 Summer of Learning program, Blast Off to Space! is funded by generous donations from The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Tableau.
