Kids & Teens: Eat Lunch at The Seattle Public Library’s Delridge Branch This Summer:

The Seattle Public Library has partnered with United Way and Food Lifeline to bring healthy and kid-friendly foods to two Library locations where kids in need already live, learn and play. Free lunches will be available for all youth ages 18 and under at the Green Lake and Delridge branches this summer, now through Sept. 1st.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Free parking is available at both locations.

Dates, times and locations for the Kids Cafe Summer Meal Program at the Library are as follows.

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, now through Sept. 1 at the Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way S.W., 206-733-9125.

The meals program in picks up where school meal programs leave off in June by providing free meals and snacks to all children and teens (18 years and younger) during the summer months. All kids are welcome – no proof of income, address or citizenship is ever required.

Kids Cafe meals are specifically selected to appeal to kids’ notoriously picky palates and to meet their special nutritional guidelines.

For more information, call the Library at 206-733-9125 or Ask A Librarian.
