Inspect-a-Gadget with Pacific Science Center @ High Point Branch on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, 3:30 – 4:30 pm. Registration is required.

Take a look “under the hood” of a computer with staff from Pacific Science Center. Registration is required. Suggested ages: Teens.
Become a hardware engineer and learn about transistors, binary code and how it’s possible to pack all those gigabytes on one tiny microchip! For those entering 6th to 8th grade in the fall.
This program is part of the Library’s 2017 Summer of Learning program, Blast Off to Space! The Library is offering hundreds of free programs and activities for children and teens to keep youth engaged in reading and learning all summer long. The 2017 Summer of Learning program, Blast Off to Space! is funded by generous donations from The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Tableau.
Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome.
Online registration for this program opens two weeks before the program starts and closes three business days before the program date.
