Green Stormwater Infrastructure and RainWise Celebration and Appreciation Event

Thursday, April 27th, 4:30-6:30 at Peace Lutheran Church

Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of neighbors, congregations, government officials, contractors and community leaders in the Barton and Fauntleroy neighborhoods. Learn the effects of capturing storm water and protecting Puget Sound by addressing our combined sewer overflow challenges. Hear more about the success of the roadside rain gardens during heavy rains. See for yourself, the fabulous functioning of the multiple cisterns and rain gardens at Peace Lutheran and learn how you can be involved.

Sweet snacks and hot drinks provided, along with testimonials, images and stories from RainWise customers.

Appreciation and acknowledgement of all the great community work done in West Seattle. All are welcome!

King County’s RainWise program offers rebates for rain gardens and cisterns for eligible Seattle homeowners and is organizing this event.
The Green Infrastructure Partnership (GrIP) is a group of nonprofits, government agencies, community-based organizations, and businesses who deliver green solutions to stormwater pollution via education, technical assistance, and incentive programs.
