Green Seattle Day is Nov. 4. One of the special event sites is at the Duwamish Head Greenbelt.
Seattle Parks and Recreation staff, volunteers, and elected officials will be planting trees, removing non-native invasives and planting native shrubs to restore the greenbelt. The urban forest restoration work will protect the hillsides and wetlands in your neighborhood.
On Saturday, Nov. 4, volunteers will be meeting at 34th Ave SW and SW City View St. https://goo.gl/maps/4PeSdmhhroS2
If you wish to come plant with us, please pre-register to volunteer by visiting http://seattle.cedar.greencitypartnerships.org/event/11874
