In celebration of Farmworker Awareness Week, join the Delridge Grocery Co-op and your neighbors for a screening of the film, Food Chains. This award-winning documentary chronicles the fight of farmworkers from the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) as they battle to earn $0.01 more per pound of tomatoes and reveals the rampant abuse of farm laborers in the United States. Stay after the film for a discussion about farm workers, local food, and how you can get involved!
