Artists in Action at the Southwest Branch Library is a six-week art club just for teens 11-18 to meet up, hang out and get creative. Why not get out of the house for awhile and head to the Library. Come alone or bring your friends!

We’ll have free food, music, and different art supplies every week. The last week we will have an art gallery where everyone can share their work. Come ready to be creative and relax in this teen-designed program.

Feb. 1 Origami
Feb. 8 Painting
Feb. 15 Library closed – No program
Feb. 22 Chalk
Feb. 29 Face painting
Mar. 7 Pastels
Mar. 14 Art Gallery

Teen Service Learning is a volunteer program for high school students who are at least 14 years old. Service learning enables teen volunteers to serve the community through collaborative projects and mentorship. If you’d like to join Teen Service Learning, check out this website for more information or talk to the Southwest Teen Librarian.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required

Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
