Learn more about physical therapy and how it can prevent back and neck injuries. Learn more detailed information on body mechanics at work, home, in the gym, and with your sports. Some audience participation is encouraged so your body can feel what I am teaching and your mind can process it. There will be 20-30 minutes free for Q&A on exercises and other strategies for injury prevention.
Presentation by Jody Dexter, PT, OCS, CMPT. She has 16 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience. She is certified as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist though APTA and a Certified Manual Physical Therapist through NAIOMT. Recently she is focusing on studying with IPA focusing on functional manual therapy. Her focus is teaching patients how to prevent injury, effectively treat injuries, and learn life long strategies for life and sport.
