1-2:30 pm. Podcasts, the New Radio
Welcome to a world where anyone with a microphone can produce their own radio show! This class is a beginner’s guide to podcasts: what they are, how to listen to them, how to find shows you like, how to listen to Library podcasts of author readings and other events, and how to remove them when you’re done.

3-4:30 pm. Navigating the News Online
Having trouble sorting out fact from fiction in today’s online news world? This class provides an overview of “fake news” and the information cycle, tips on how to evaluate online information online, and best practices for distinguishing fake news from reliable information.

Wednesday, April 24
1-2:30 pm. Computer Basics
A comfortable class for the true beginner. Learn how to use a mouse, navigate the screen, and perform common basic functions.

3-4:30 pm. Smart Phones for Seniors
Many seniors are using smart phones for communication, fun, travel and more. Come to this class for resources on how to use common communication apps and how to get free library books on your phone. We will allow time for practice on your own device, if you bring one.
