At the Southwest Library: Learn how to go beyond automatic to make your camera do what you want it to. For teens and adults.

Explore what those other modes and settings on your camera can do for your photographs. Also discuss some basic principles of designing a compelling photograph. For all levels of experience, shooting any digital camera.

Bring your camera, a fully-charged battery, a memory card and your camera user’s manual if you have it to class along with 3 photographs to share out of pride or to ask what went wrong or what more could I have done with the camera. Your sample 3 images should be on a flash drive, DVD or as small prints.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.

Space is limited at library events. Please come early to make sure you get a seat. Due to the fire code, we can’t exceed the maximum capacity for our rooms.
