The raw/vegan/vegetarian menu is good, but pricey and nothing you can’t cook for yourself at home. I prefer to come in for smoothie happy hour.

Great option for when you want to eat out but are looking for healthier fare.

So glad WS has it’s own Chaco Canyon Cafe. Love the U District location but closer to home is better.

The food here is pretty good and very healthy. The environment is friendly toward kids and there are decent choices suitable for them (waffle, quesedilla, smoothies). The down side with kids is that food can be a little slow in arriving.
What I like the most are the vegan sweets, like the Cowboy Cookies, the fudge brownies and the fruit bars. They also make a great chai tea with almond milk (or cow’s milk). I’m not a vegetarian, but sometimes I want something low fat and veg-focused and this place hits the spot.
