Leaving West Seattle and approaching the low bridge recently, I glimpsed interesting "art" on a rightside pillar. I think it was an artistic renderng of a giant hand. It seems to me a few years ago the same spot had a polar bear, which I liked. Is this graffiti? Is it paint, chalk, or decal? Anyone know about it? Just curious how it got there and who would be inspired to do this.

It was all being painted over when I was driving through this morning. A worker was out there with a can of paint 'cleaning up' the weekend's graffiti just before the low bridge.

  3. Sounds like the same ones where the paper/wheatpaste wolves used to roam?

I noticed that too and thought it was interesting. Until I looked closer and saw that it was a stigmata hand. Less interesting.
