   I'm writing about West Seattle, and having 3 young kids of my own, I'd love to learn more about what local West Seattle parents love to do with the kids, especially during cooler months. I'd love to hear from parents of multiple kids about places that are double-stroller friendly, too!

   For starters Curious Kids on California Ave is a great toy store with non-violent toys and friendly staff. Square 1 Books is great as is Pacific Science Center with their baby/toddler play area. Don't know how old your children are but finger painting is great fun as it playing with play dough. Great Harvest Bread Company has a small play area with picture books and afew toys. We also spent a good amount of time at Hiawitha playground. Not in West Seattle but close in downtown Seattle is Soundbridge a great interactive movement/music program for children up to age 5.

   I have twins too, and keeping them entertained is always challenging.
   For indoor fun we always hit the community center open gyms (Hiawatha, Hightpoint), Coffee to a Tea is great, West Side Gymnastics Academy has fun classes. Of course there is also story time at the library.
   For tots outside, (and we are always out if it's not raining!) the best place is the Tot Lot (21st SW & Croft Pl SW Delridge from Delridge head east on Juneau for about ½ mile), plus the dozens of fun parks (Whale Tale down at Alki, Ercolini west of the Junction), just to name a few.

   Wednesdays and Saturdays Barnes & Noble in Westwood has story time. Wednesdays are "Juice & Jammies" at 6pm. They get some cookies & Juice and get to color. They usually read 2 books. Saturdays are at noon and there's an arts & craft after the story. My daughter's 3 and she LOVES taking the dance classes offered by the Community Centers. I think the most expensive one is Ballet at Highpoint. $49 for 6 classes.

   The Junction in general is great - Easy Street breakfast is kid friendly. Puerto Vallarta, too. And best of all Coffee To A Tea! Also great kid stores...
