Did you spend Saturday raking the leaves that fell Friday? Are you willing to share? I'm looking for clean (no animal feces) bagged leaves to compost for my organic garden.

Thanks to the people who've responded the last couple years. A special thanks to the household with the horse chestnut tree. Anybody want a horse chestnut seedling? :-)

Don't have any yet, but will in the future - keep me in mind, I'll have at least 3+ large yard bags full this fall.

No pesticide, no toxins used on plant life building.

I will have several bags in a few days. the city was so nice a few years ago to plant maple trees in the parking strip next to my house. So to keep the street clear I pick them up. Last year I have 5 or 6 bags.

Horse Chestnuts trees would be me. I will see what I got for you again. No more seedlings please. The squirrels are helping me with that every year.

  8. The back parking lot of the Admiral Safeway has several large bags this morning that look like leaves. Probably from the large trees that line the street and blow from the park.

Thanks, Ken. I'll check it out.
Todd, the seedling is going into the compost bin. I don't think my neighbor would care for a big tree that close to her roof. Too bad; I had a horse chestnut in the yard of a house where I used to live and enjoyed it. I was younger then. I didn't mind raking up the nuts.
