   Replying to a current topic reminded me we've been meaning to make this a sticky for a while.

   If you just want to search the forum, be sure that when you use the search box at upper right, you include the word forum as well as your desired search term. If you're looking for a discussion of pizza, for example, try:

   pizza forum

   If you are looking for a past discussion of plumbers, try:

   plumber forum

   You may still get search results with a main-page item if either the writer or a commenter mentioned the word forum, but the vast majority of results you get will be for the forum.

   (Anyone with other forum-searching hints, please chime in! Thanks!)

   Perhaps I need another lesson. Thiis past weekend I was describing to friends a video I had seen on YouTube which was shared on the forums by someone (I cannot remember who). It was the video of the guy who danced joyously if not awkwardly on a hillside during a concert. The dancing was infectious and soon the hillside was covered with other dancers who caught the "spirt."
   Search words I unsuccessfully used in different combinations: "YouTube, forum, dance, Jiggers (because I remembered that he had commented in that thread) all to no avail.
   If you find it, please tell me/us what search words you used. Thanks.

   Somebody posted this link ages ago for searching the WSB site: http://googlewest.home.comcast.net/~googlewest/
   Where it says "entire site" you can drop down the box to say "forum"

   Thanks Sue. That was helpful to have that link to the past. I still cannot find the topic I was looking for; I think because I am not putting the right words into the search field.

   flowerpetal, perhaps you couldn't find it because you were searching for "spirt"? I'm sorry, I couldn't resist ;) I'm no help, I think I missed that video.

   Sue, I have that bookmarked too and use it often. I feel bad that I don't remember who created it, but I like it.

   Aw, I remember that site! That was from before there was a search for the forums I think? As I was falling asleep last night I thought about 'google west' for the first time in a while for some unknown reason.. I had skipped this topic until today as well.

   I skipped searching for it by keyword and just skimmed over Jiggers' posts more than a few weeks old to see if he'd posted in or started a thread about videos or dancing. (you can see people's previous posts by clicking the word "Member" under their name, useful if you know who said it but keywords aren't returning anything.)
