Another huge change for Fauntleroy/Alaska intersection

First the Fauntleroy Place plan … now this: After 60 years in the car biz in West Seattle, the Huling family’s getting out of it, per the P-I. You can read more here about the Spokane-based car company that’s taking over.

I know someone who works at Thrifty Car Rental (owned by the Hulings) and found out on Tuesday that their company had sold as well. However, I’ve been told many of Thrifty’s employees will be left without a job because they are moving the operations.

Maybe we will get lucky and they will build more condos on Fauntleroy! :)

Yay! I never experience such ineptitude and bad service with car repair as I did with HuRling.

I wont miss Hurl-ing.. what bugs me are the sales reps illegally crossing the street all day for years and years/not using the cross walks.. if another car co takes over, I guess the jaywalking will continue.

Well, I guess we now know why the Bros were trying to dump the business like a lemon, take the money and run. Yeah, Mr Spokane, it’s a wonderful car business, only used on Sundays by a little old lady going to church (where she robbed the collection plate)…

Sorry, comment time is over.
