WS Weekend Lineup: Summer ends in mega-busy style

Fall officially arrives early Sunday morning. Before and after that, there’s a massive amount of things to do in WS — from Holy Rosary’s annual WestFest tonight and tomorrow, to the North Delridge Adopt-a-Street cleanup, to tonight’s rescheduled outdoor movie (weather looks better), to the last Children of the Revolution appearance (they’re fabulous) of the season at Cafe Rozella tonight, and tons more: 37 events ahead!

First a friendly disclaimer: We get 90% of the weekly WS Weekend Lineup contents directly from websites for the organizations/businesses/etc. in question (which is why we provide links in the listings) — so the info’s only as good as those web postings, which we check at the last possible moment (late Thursday/early Friday) for maximum freshness. If you have an event coming up, we are thrilled to get e-mail directly from you (or “regular mail” announcements if you work that way instead — see the Contact WSB page for our address). Now, on with the weekend!!!!

West Seattle Food Bank volunteers will be doing a food drive at the Admiral Metropolitan Market during the day on Saturday in support of the Mayors Day of Caring. Drop by and help those in our West Seattle community that are less fortunate.

Thanks, Pete – you went to the trouble to e-mail that to us yesterday and we neglected to get it into the WSWL this morning – we do regularly check the Metro Market events calendar and didn’t see it there this morning or else our memory might have been jogged. Adding to the main body of the post now.

Sorry, comment time is over.
