FRIDAY NIGHT: From 7-10 pm Carmilia’s, Clementine, Edie’s and Sweetie are joining together to host a night of beauty and fashion. SUNDAY MORNING-AFTERNOON: From a West Seattle Family: We are hosting a craft show and brunch on April 26, 2009, 10am-3pm at our house (2727 46th Ave SW), raising money to fight leukemia and lymphoma. The event will include live music, a raffle, great eats and the opportunity to purchase handmade crafts and works of art. Our team’s “honorary teammate”, Jonelle Horn, will be there, too, to present her own story and how the work of LLS has directly affected her course of treatment and, ultimately, her quality of life. Cost will be $10/adult, $5/kid, $25/family suggested donations; free if you are only interested in checking out the crafts.

Read aloud from your favorite poem, or just come and listen. Poets are welcome. (Each reading is limited to 5 minutes, so if your favorite poem is an epic, please select an excerpt!) This program is free and open to the public; no registration is required.
