We’re back! The West Seattle Shambhala Meditation Group Tuesdays at 6:30 pm at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center. Please join our West Seattle Shambhala Facebook page where we will continue to periodically post articles and links during the summer to encourage and strengthen your meditation practice.

West Seattle Shambhala Meditation group offers meditation sessions on Tuesday evenings in West Seattle across from the Delridge Community Center and Skatepark. Whether you are new to meditation or are an old hand, and regardless of your religious affiliation, you are welcome to join us!

We offer meditation instruction, group meditation, and a space for discussion and exploration of topics related to our practice, and a supportive community. Through our meditation we develop the possibility of meeting our everyday activities with awareness, peace, wisdom, compassion and a sense of humor.

On-going Series (every Tuesday evening)

6:30-7:15 PM: Meditation (including instruction)
7:15-7:30 PM Tea and Social Time
7:30-8:00 PM: Guest Speaker or Group Discussion

Note that occasionally there may be a change in the schedule – so it’s
always good to check the calendar (http://seattle.shambhala.org/monthly-calendar/) before you come, to be sure we are meeting on any given Tuesday. West Seattle Shambhala also offers specific introductory classes from time to time, which will appear in the calendar, and in the general listing of introductory classes.
