Vashon Sheepdog Trial celebrates working border collies and herding dogs on Vashon!

On over 30 acres of rolling green hills sheepdogs from across the US will have an opportunity to show their finesse as they take control of the wiley Willamette Valley lambs, courtesy of The Anderson Ranch of Brownsville, OR.
Misty Isle Farms welcomes people from all over the Puget Sound to picnic and enjoy these amazing working dogs. Spectators are welcome to attend the event at any time. Bring a picnic or enjoy the offerings at the trial site.
Admission to the trial is $15.00 for a 3 day pass or $5.00 at the gate. Children under 12 years of age are free. The trial will take place from dawn to dusk each day.

Skacel Fiber Arts Tent
In addition to the herding competition there will be all sorts of action at the Skacel Fiber Arts Tent. Shearing-knitting-spinning-felting-local fiber crafts for sale. Bring your needles or crochet hooks, drop in, and make history. Join us in “Yarn Storming” the livestock gates for next years event(and years to come). Bring your knitting needles
*This is a National level Open competition with over 60 dogs competing for cash & prizes. It takes a whole day to finish one class. Which means non-stop competition all day Saturday & Sunday.
