Twilight Gallery invites you to cross the bridge to West Seattle and spend your evening with “Three For The Road”….

Three For The Road will feature three songwriters sharing their stories and music. Seattle singer/songwriters, Sue Quigley and Willow Scrivner will be joined by San Francisco touring songwriter, Deborah Crooks for an intimate night of music…

Sue Quigley has the sort of voice that careers are built on: it is strong, rich and distinctive and she uses it masterfully. At times she’ll hold a note until your breastbone resonates; at others, she’ll back off from the mic and draw you in to her private world – absolutely captivating singing.

Willow’s music lingers in a stark, blackly outlined winter landscape with shadowy, whispering instrumentation and fluid melody. The new release hovers somewhere around folk, but with gothic tinges and bell-like guitars chiming throughout. Willow’s voice, reminiscent of Natalie Merchant and The Sundays’ Harriet Wheeler, is as warm, lilting,
and alluring as they come. …haunted and haunting, shot throughout with a deep, glimmering liquidity.

California songwriter Deborah Crooks’ lyric driven and soul-wise music draws on folk, rock, Americana and the blues. Often compared to Lucinda Williams and The Cowboy Junkies, she’s recorded three full-length CDs of original music, toured the North and Southwest, received national airplay, and was named to Music Connection magazine’s 2012′s HOT 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands.
