Welcome: If you have a heartbeat or can draw a breath, you are welcome to come and join us. No experience or prior knowledge needed.
My name is Caylen Storm, I have been teaching Tai Chi locally for a few years and I would like to invite you and yours to join me for an informal hour of Tai Chi on every Saturday of the month, Spring Through Fall. The class is FREE so all you need to bring is a smile and the right clothes for the weather.
The class, as always, is open to anyone curious about the marvelous art of Tai Chi. All we ask is that you dress for the weather and bring friends. The main focus of the class is in teaching people what they can do to improve the basic quality of daily life, i.e. smoother, deeper breathing, a more stable sense of balance, how to let stress pass by us rather than trapping it in our bodies, etc. We will be out in the fresh air, having a grand time and maybe even learning something before we’re done.
When: We begin class at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday April 5th, 2014 and continue until September 27th, 2014.
Where: We meet just West of the Statue of Liberty, but will move the class up or down the beach to accommodate the many festivals that occur during Summer.
