Sustainable West Seattle invites you to join us for dessert as part of our annual membership meeting at C & P Coffee Company (WSB sponsor), Monday January 19th from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Dessert is hosted by the current 2014 SWS board. We will review last year’s SWS activities, projects and events and look ahead to 2015 including nomination of new board members.

A new benefit of becoming a member of Sustainable West Seattle for 2015 will be a membership discount from local businesses. A growing number of Green Businesses are offering this membership discount in support of Sustainable West Seattle and to promote shop local. Some notable longtime West Seattle Businesses that have already signed up include The Husky Deli, Zebra Copy and Print and Alki Bike and Board.

You can become a member of Sustainable West Seattle at their annual membership meeting Monday, January 19th as a part of the Martin Luther King Day of Service.

On the National Day of Service start the New Year off by donating some time to Sustainable West Seattle (SWS), the organization spearheading West Seattle’s effort to provide alternatives to globalization and planet exploitation. SWS is looking for new members and board members for 2015’s “projects of hope”! Here is your chance to influence the shape of your sustainable community and local projects.
